After more than 50 years educating and nurturing some of the best Australian performers, artists and creators, NIDA has an incredible alumni community.
This year we have introduced a new program that will help the institute reconnect with our past alumni and help support our newest graduates as they head out into their chosen industries.
The program was officially launched at the graduation ceremony for the class of 2014 who became the first group of NIDA graduates to receive new alumni pins. These discreet silver NIDA ‘Ns’ are a small but important gesture in bringing our community of former students together. Being one of the few people who are fortunate to train at Australia’s leading centre for the dramatic arts is something our alumni should be, and are, proud of. The NIDA pin is a symbol that each new generation of graduates is part of a group that is changing the face of the arts and creative industries.
NIDA will be hosting a series of events throughout the year to present the NIDA pin to all our alumni and these will be wonderful opportunities for graduates to reconnect with each other, find out what past classmates have been up to and share their own news.
NIDA has also launched a dedicated private LinkedIn group for alumni to share news and stories with each other, as well as build new connections and explore collaborative opportunities.
