About the show
Orlando is a swashbuckling nobleman, favourite of Queen Elizabeth and lover of Russian Princess Sasha. Halfway through his adventurous lifetime, Orlando awakens as a woman. And over 500 years of life, Orlando ages only 36 years. Orlando abandons herself to five centuries of change with an insatiable appetite to discover what it means to live fully in the present, in her own skin and in her own time. Orlando is a dream-like adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s famous tale – a magical and poetic dance between gender, time and space.
